How it works
One equation does all of it: time = distance × pace. Rearranged, that is also pace = time ÷ distance and distance = time ÷ pace, which is exactly what the three options in the menu pick between.
Speed is the same thing upside down — 3600 divided by the pace in seconds per kilometre gives kilometres per hour, which is why editing either one moves the other, and why asking for pace fills in both.
Seconds are rounded for display, so typing a pace, then a time, then back again can shift a value by a second. The underlying numbers keep their full precision; only what you see is rounded.
